Your Dental Questions Answered
We offer flexible payment options to help make dental care affordable and convenient for our patients. We accept most major credit and debit cards, EFTPOS, and cash payments.
If you have private health insurance, please remember to bring your health fund card so we can process on-the-spot claims through HICAPS. In most cases, you will only need to pay the gap amount on the day of your appointment.
If you have any questions about payment options or treatment costs, our friendly team is always happy to help.
There are several effective ways to whiten teeth, and the best option depends on your individual needs, the cause of staining, and the condition of your teeth. Our dentists can help you choose the most suitable treatment for your smile.
For surface stains caused by coffee, tea, smoking, or everyday wear, a professional clean can often noticeably brighten and refresh your teeth.
If the staining is deeper within the tooth, we may recommend professional teeth whitening treatments. We offer both:
• Chairside whitening – completed in the clinic for faster results
• Take-home whitening kits – custom-made trays for gradual whitening at home
In some cases, replacing old fillings, veneers, or crowns may also improve the appearance of your teeth. During your consultation, our dentists will discuss all suitable whitening options and help you achieve a natural, brighter smile safely and effectively.
At your first appointment, our team will take the time to get to know you and understand your dental concerns and goals.
Your visit will usually include:
• Reviewing your medical and dental history
• A comprehensive dental examination
• Examination of your teeth, gums, jaw joints, and oral tissues
• Dental X-rays if required to assess areas not visible during the examination
• Discussion of any findings, treatment needs, and available treatment options
• Time to ask questions and discuss any concerns you may have
We aim to make your first visit comfortable, informative, and relaxed, so you can feel confident about your dental care.
Yes, we are preferred providers for:
• Medibank Private
• HCF
• BUPA
Preferred provider benefits vary depending on your level of cover and individual health fund policy. For eligible members of some funds, such as Medibank Private and HCF, benefits may include up to two no-gap check-up and clean visits per year, which can include examinations, dental X-rays, and professional cleaning.
Patients with other private health funds are also warmly welcome, and we can process on-the-spot claims through HICAPS for most health insurers.
As health fund benefits can change, we recommend checking directly with your health fund to confirm your current entitlements and level of cover.
Yes. We understand that many people feel anxious or nervous about visiting the dentist, and our team is committed to making your experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.
We offer happy gas (nitrous oxide sedation) for suitable patients to help reduce anxiety and make dental treatment feel more relaxed and comfortable. Happy gas is commonly used for both adults and children who may feel nervous about dental procedures.
Nitrous oxide is inhaled gently through a small mask placed over the nose. It works quickly to help you feel calm and relaxed during treatment, while still allowing you to remain awake and able to communicate with the dentist. Once the treatment is finished, the effects wear off rapidly after breathing normal oxygen for a few minutes.
Happy gas has been used safely in dentistry for many years and is considered a very safe form of sedation when administered by trained dental professionals. Before treatment, our dentists will review your medical history and discuss whether nitrous oxide sedation is suitable for you.
If you are feeling anxious about your visit, please let our friendly team know when booking your appointment. We will do our best to help you feel comfortable and supported throughout your dental care journey.
